Peek-A-Boo Virus

picture

A new computer virus, going by the name of "peek-a-boo", has been rapidly spreading throughout the Internet and unleashing terror on millions of home and corporate users.

The virus spreads by exploiting a vulnerability in port 7846. The virus will sit quietly in the computer's memory, patiently waiting until the user is busy concentrating on something important, and then suddenly jump up and play a loud "BOO!" through the speakers at maximum volume.

IT security specialists calculate the cost of this virus to be around fifty five million soiled pants.

Until a patch is released, users are advised to turn off their speakers and to work only during daylight hours.
